Eagles fans, find solace knowing we’ll never be as embarrassing as the New York Giants
The Eagles seem to be heading for another collapse. Still holding out hope, but yeah, I’ve seen this movie before. And let me tell ya, the ending does not redeem it.
It’s times like this where we as a collective need to take a step back and gain a little perspective. No matter how bad things get here in Philly, our Eagles will never be as embarrassing as the New York football Giants.
On Monday, the Giants showcased just how laughably bad they can be. On its surface, 33-15 isn’t the worst final score. Obviously not great, but we’ve seen worse. As always, it’s about the details.
For starters, Abdul Carter sat out for the first series of the game for disciplinary reasons. He refused to tell anyone why he was forced to sit out, other than just saying, “shit happens.”
Next up, we have this bone crushing (legal) hit on Jaxson Dart. Dude got demolished and got up like nothing happened, I do respect that.
Nevertheless, I enjoy watching frat bros get hit. Suffice to say, this brought a smile to my face.
To top things off, we turn our attention to Younghoe Ku, the Giants kicker. He somehow missed the ball on a field goal attempt. Like, he wasn’t even close.
If an Eagles kicker ever did something this stupid, I’d probably end it all
Real tough go for Giants nation. Do I feel bad? Not one bit. Those inbreds don’t deserve happiness and they’ll never get it.
As an Eagles fan, I’m just happy we’re not this bad — and never will be.
