Spike Eskin doubles down on his Jalen Hurts lie, somehow makes himself look worse than before after latest social media rant

Spike Eskin is on an unbelievable heater right now, and not in a good way.

After getting completely exposed by Hard Knocks Episode 1 for inventing a story about Jalen Hurts “never talking to his receivers,” he decided the correct move was to avoid apologizing, avoid admitting he lied, and avoid even a hint of self-awareness.

Instead, Spike Eskin jumped on Twitter, fired off a rambling performance piece, and managed to look even cornier than he did the first time, which that alone feels like an incredible achievement.

Yeah… that’s not even commentary and it’s probably the furthest thing away from analysis. All we have here is Spike Eskin doing an interpretive dance through digital embarrassment.

It gets even better because he posted images of a Barstool Sports article when he knows damn well The Liberty Line one went viral.

So fucking soft. There’s no other way to describe it. We go viral yesterday for calling Spike Eskin a liar. He finds another article from Barstool to reference, knowing that there is a less likely chance that they respond to the bullshit. He then blocks The Liberty Line, and frames the entire situation as if he was somehow taking a stand against Eagles fans.

Somehow in his own mind, Spike Eskin is the victim. Go figure!

It’s like Spike Eskin fails to realize that he created this fake Jalen Hurts narrative himself, live on the air, with the intention of misleading the entire Eagles fanbase. He then doubled down and pretended that we are now the crazy ones for noticing.

Spike Eskin’s entire act has nothing to do with football

As you all know, Spike Eskin provides no real football insight. He does not offer Xs and Os. He does not diagnose scheme. He does not even entertain in a traditional radio sense. His whole act is powered by one thing and one thing only: negativity.

Manufactured drama. Forced controversy. Low-effort engagement bait.

It is the same energy as whatever vegan or vegetarian phase he is in right now. The diet he talks about constantly. The diet he treats like a personality. Eat whatever you want, that is not the issue. The issue is pretending you can live off quinoa and vibes and then understand the inner workings of an NFL offense.

Honestly, maybe that explains why half the station sounds like it is operating on low iron and disappointment. But that can be addressed another time.

Spike did not just lie. He compared Jalen Hurts to Ben Simmons. That comparison alone should require a written apology to the city of Philadelphia.

Jalen Hurts has shown accountability since the moment he arrived in this city. He plays hurt. He takes blame when he should not have to. He apologizes to teammates after wins because he thinks he could have played better.

Spike Eskin cannot even take accountability for a fake story he made up to fill airtime.

It is embarrassing.

Philly fans are tired of this manufactured nonsense

Everyone in this city knows real criticism when they see it. We can be harsh. We can be emotional. We can be impatient but we are not idiots and we sure as hell know when someone is creating drama on purpose.

That’s exactly what’s happening here. Spike Eskin is creating drama on purpose. He is not analyzing the football team. He is farming outrage. Thankfully, fans are no longer falling for it.

We are tired of the fake narrative machine. We are tired of the lazy comparisons. We are tired of watching media members build an entire argument on top of nothing and then act offended when they get called out.
