Los Angeles Chargers Twitter admin went on a heater last night after the Chargers escaped MNF with a 22-19 win over the Eagles
The Los Angeles Chargers Twitter account had a field day last night after the Chargers escaped Monday Night Football with a 22-19 win over our beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
I really don’t have anything to say about the game. Philly sports have crushed me far too many times to actually let them ruin me the day after.
I am a dark soulless rat, what can I say?
Before you agree with me, you should also know that I was having a lovely conversation with a girl while watching the Eagles and we were talking about John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway, and Jack Kerouac.
I think my level of intelligence is far beyond what most of you can comprehend, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t scurrying around and diving head first in the mud with the rest of you. The duality of man, right?
Plus, I do believe it was one of the best offensive performances from the Eagles over the past 1-2 months. Call me crazy, many do, but outside of some horrific turnovers and drops that ultimately lost the Birds the game, I’m optimistic about the rest of the year.
More from Eagles-Chargers Monday Night Football
- Eagles drop third straight, Chargers steal one in overtime, 22-19 final
- AJ Brown accepts full accountability after crucial drops doom Eagles
- Jalen Hurts makes NFL history in the worst way possible during sloppy MNF game
For those of you who will inevitably comment on this and tell me that you are “shocked” I’m sitting here doing the bidding of another NFL team and more specifically, one that just beat our Eagles, just don’t. You’re just as bad as the Tanner McKee contingent. I have zero time for you.
Obviously, I hate to give the Chargers credit for anything related to last night. The Eagles basically handed them the football game because Jalen Hurts turned the ball over five times and AJ Brown had not one, but three, dropped passes that could have easily changed the outcome of the game.Â
At the same time, I work in marketing and can acknowledge when someone is in their bag on social media. The Chargers Twitter account was dishing out banger after banger following the win and all you can really do is sit back and laugh.
Honestly, I was surprised that of all teams, it was the Chargers, the outcasts of the NFL without a true home, playing in the Rams house out in Los Angeles would bring such fire, but here we are. The Twitter admin simply could not miss.

The Eagles now face a stretch run that includes the Raiders, Commanders twice, and Bills. The margin for error is gone. The positivity rabbit didn’t save them.
It’s time for execution.
If the Eagles want to stop the bleeding, their best players have to deliver in the biggest moments. Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown know that.
The Eagles are 8-5 with four games left in the regular season.
- Week 15 vs. Raiders at 1 p.m.
- Week 16 at Commanders at 5 p.m.
- Week 17 at Bills at 4:25 p.m.
- Week 18 vs. Commanders, time TBD
The Good News? The magic number to win the NFC East stays at three
f the Eagles cannot beat the listless Raiders next week at home, it will be fair to question whether they should bother showing up for the final three.
The defense showed real fight. The offense once again did not. And the team that entered the year as a Super Bowl contender is now clinging to division hopes and desperately searching for answers.
