Adam Schefter offers bizarre defense of Sherrone Moore on-air, proves he’s nothing but a Michigan shill
ESPN reporter and “Michigan Man” Adam Schefter spoke on the Sherrone Moore situation today, and did so in bizarre fashion. Instead of simply talking about the facts as they are, he’s opting to wait until we hear Moore’s side of the story.
Adam Schefter said Sherrone Moore “felt like people had it in for him for an awful long time”:
"What we haven't heard yet is Sherrone Moore's side of this. And he gets his say in this particular situation as well. I do know he felt like people had it in for him for an awful long time."

Well, Adam, I think the crux of the issue is that Moore had it in someone for an awful long time. And, according to reports, did so to completion.
I understand that there are multiple sides to every story, but I just don’t see a world where people at Michigan disliking him is significant enough to be anything more than a footnote in this one. We’re talking about a guy that (allegedly) slept with an employee, got her pregnant, forced her to get an abortion, and doubled her salary to keep her quiet.
Throw in being detained by police for threatening to kill your wife, mistress, and finally yourself, and you lose the ability to claim you’re a victim of a conspiracy perpetrated by the University of Michigan. It would have to be a Mossad-level operation to honeypot him into oblivion like this. It’s possible, but brother, it’s unlikely.
I don’t think “people were mean to me” absolves him of any of those things. I’ve never gotten a girl pregnant and threatened to kill her because my coworkers didn’t like me. Granted, my coworkers love me because I’m a joy to be around and exceedingly competent. Plus, you can’t forget my can-do attitude and sunny disposition.
I’m also saving myself for marriage, as premarital sex is a grave sin in the eyes of the Lord. So keep that in mind here.
But I’m not done with Adam Schefter yet. What a complete and total loser he’s become. I get that he’s still the main newsbreaker in pro football, but jumping to defend Moore on national TV because he coached your alma mater is patently embarrassing.
This is the same guy who got hold of and subsequently tweeted a photo of Jason Pierre-Paul’s medical records after his brutal fireworks accident. He was doing HIPAA violations before they became a COVID-era meme.
Now look at him. He’s kowtowing to Michigan in a way that would even make Dave Portnoy embarrassed. How the mighty have fallen.
