Landon Dickerson Jalen Hurts Eagles Beat Reporter

WATCH: Landon Dickerson calls out media for Jalen Hurts criticism, cowardly beat reporter immediately blames the fans

Landon Dickerson briefly spoke with the media following the Eagles’ 31-0 demolition of the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday and with the help of a brainless beat writer, touched a few things that we have been talking about right here on The Liberty Line over the past few weeks.

It was a validating moment in the most exhausting way possible. Landon Dickerson was asked about the “rough ride” Jalen Hurts supposedly went through this past week, and his reaction said everything.

Landon Dickerson immediately pushed back and questioned what “rough ride” the reporter was even talking about, before making it crystal clear that the media is the one constantly dogging Jalen Hurts.

Obviously, the players see what’s happening on social media and in the local and national news. They know exactly where it’s coming from, and much like Eagles fans, they are clearly sick of it.

Landon Dickerson on Jalen Hurts’ “rough ride”

Holy deflect. You really can’t make this shit up.

Hopefully you watched the clip in it’s entirety because the very last part is the one that should send all Eagles fans over the edge. After Landon Dickerson pushes back, the beat reporter follows up with “it’s the fans” like a scared little puppy dog who just pissed all over the locker room floor.

I think we’re all on the same page that Philly Sports Talk Radio hosts and beat reporters are bitch made. This just proved that point yet again. I don’t know how someone could be so cowardly, lazy, and completely disingenuous.

This is the same cycle that happens every single time in this city. Beat reporters and radio hosts manufacture a narrative. They frame it as concern, or buzz, or “just asking questions.”

That narrative gets amplified by national media outlets who don’t watch the games and don’t understand the context. Fans react to the nonsense. Then the same people who created the story turn around and blame the fans for the reaction.

It’s a snake eating its own tail, and the fans get thrown under the bus every single time.

The truth is simple. The fans didn’t create the Jalen Hurts discourse. Philly sports radio did. Beat reporters did. National talking heads did.

They lit the match, poured the gasoline, and then pointed at the fire and said, “See? Look how crazy Eagles fans are.”

Meanwhile, the actual locker room could not be clearer about where they stand.

It’s great to see Landon Dickerson backing Jalen Hurts publicly. It’s great to see DeVonta Smith, Nick Sirianni, and others doing the same.

That unity matters. That is the only thing that actually matters. Not ESPN segments. Not anonymous “league sources.” Not radio hosts playing performative outrage theater for clicks and callers.

The Eagles locker room is united.

They believe in their quarterback. They believe in each other. And that tells you everything you need to know about how real this so-called “controversy” actually is.

The media wants chaos. They want infighting. They want drama because drama pays the bills. But the players are telling you, directly, that this stuff is noise and when the people actually inside the building are this aligned, it exposes how hollow the entire conversation has been from the start.

The fans aren’t the problem. Never were. And it’s about time the people with microphones and credentials took responsibility for the narratives they create instead of blaming the people who simply care enough to react.

The locker room has Jalen Hurts’ back. That’s the story. Everything else is bullshit.
