Maxx Crosby loved playing in Philly, is clearly dying to be an Eagle

The Raiders came to Philly and got smoked 31-0, but star pass rusher Maxx Crosby still had a blast playing in front of Eagles fans. Crosby went on a podcast and gushed about the energy the Philly crowd brings after his first career game at the Linc.

You can hear how badly Maxx Crosby wants to be an Eagle in this clip:

“Like cities that really have substance to them and true fan bases and love for their city and the game… Going to Philly you can feel that energy when you go there.”

We here at The Liberty Line have always had our eye on Maxx Crosby to join the Eagles’ defensive line. A crazy ass white boy is never a bad asset to add in the trenches, plus he’s a premier talent at his position.

This clip also illustrates the stark contrast between a real fan base like Philadelphia and whatever they have going on in Las Vegas for the Raiders. Eagles fans are a rare breed, so playing in Philadelphia for the first time, especially from a city with lackluster fans, has to be a wake-up call.

Obviously, there are two sides to the coin when it comes to playing for the Eagles. When things are going well, you might as well be a Greek god. When things go south… that’s when the fanbase can turn on you and make your life hell.

But there’s a very simple solution to this. Play hard and win games, and we’ll love you more than our own family. That doesn’t happen many other places in the NFL.
