You want to know what “soft” looks like? It looks like 49ers fans allegedly spamming Ladder 15 with 1-star Google reviews because the bar told them “no” when they tried to roll into Philly and stage a little playoff weekend takeover.

Ladder got an email from a big group of Niners fans looking to book out the bar ahead of Sunday’s Wild Card game at the Linc, and management basically hit them with: absolutely not, go be weird somewhere else.

And of course, because we live in the age of adult toddlers, the response from a chunk of San Francisco’s traveling circus appears to be to tank Ladder 15’s Google reviews.

Let’s be clear: fake reviews are loser behavior

If you had a bad experience at a bar, leave your review. That’s the point.

If you’ve never stepped foot inside the place and you’re just mad your fan club couldn’t reserve 200 seats to cosplay an invasion, you’re not “holding businesses accountable.” You’re just being a cornball.

And it’s extra ridiculous because Ladder 15 didn’t “deny service.” They just didn’t want to host a massive opposing-fan event on a playoff weekend. That’s not discrimination. That’s a business making a business decision, and honestly, it’s a pretty Philly one.
