Report: Kevin Patullo fired, still on Eagles staff potentially, my rage remains fully intact

The Eagles “fired” Kevin Patullo… except maybe they didn’t.

Nick Sirianni got his way and kept his buddy in the building, just in some new role with a different title. Assistant head coach, offensive consultant, “special assistant to ASS” — whatever. Who knows. All I know is he’s still here potentially and that angers me.

There’s simply no shot Kevin Patullo can remain on the Eagles staff. For his own sake, he should just leave. This city loathes him. People were throwing eggs at his house. There’s literally a golf simulator in Bucks County where you can hit golf balls at a projector screen of nothing but his face. Nobody wants him here, and for good reason.

And then you hear he spent the year bitching to his friends about how he’s getting a bad rep and none of it was his fault. Blah blah blah. Shut up and pound dirt, buddy.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: firing Patullo doesn’t fix the fundamental issues with this offense. This is Nick Sirianni’s operation. Unless he hands the keys over to the new OC and actually stays out of it, nothing is going to change.

The same basic route concepts will still be there. The same “Prevent Offense” will still show up in second halves. The same conservative nonsense will keep popping up the second they get a lead. Nothing changes unless you force it to change. And we all know what has to happen.

Sorry, Nick. Kevin Patullo cannot work here anymore. He’s a loser and I’m not watching him coach my favorite football team in any capacity. Be gone.
