Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel were caught kissing at an NYC bar in 2020, and now we see just how deep the rabbit hole goes
Page Six dropped new photos today showing Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel kissing at the Tribeca Tavern in New York City on March 11, 2020, six years before the Arizona resort photos that kicked off this scandal. Vrabel had been married to his wife, Jennifer, for over two decades and was coaching the Tennessee Titans. Russini was covering the NFL for ESPN and was still six months away from marrying Kevin Goldschmidt.
The Page Six photos from the Tribeca Tavern show Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel kissing in March 2020, six years before the Sedona scandal:

We’ve covered this saga from the beginning here at TLL. Most of the major sports media outlets have been afraid to touch this story with a ten-foot pole. But we are citizen journalists. Plus, her constantly pushing stories that would send AJ Brown to play for her affair partner didn’t give her much grace with us.
This, of course, proves that the affair between these two dates back way further than a fraudulent “group trip” in a Sedona luxury love nest. Vrabel and Russini have been hot and heavy for six years.
Granted, none of the bombshell details are the actual bombshell detail. Affairs happen for extended periods of time pretty often. That’s not the sick and twisted part of the story in my eyes.
That would be this: Russini’s first son, Michael Andrew, was born in August 2021. She married Kevin Goldschmidt in September 2020. The Tribeca Tavern photos are from March of that same year.
I’ll let you do the math on the timeline. I’ll just say that naming your first son Michael while fucking a guy by the same name is either an extreme coincidence or something so psychologically fucked I could never even consider a normal human being doing it. One of those two things is true. I know which one I think it is.
Keep looking at my almost 4 day old son Michael while trying to figure out who are the best Michaels to ever play and coach in the NFL?

Sickening. I hate to be this guy, but I think a DNA test might be in order.
I have to hand it to this private investigator who captured and sold these pictures to Page Six. This person was moving undetected for six whole years. Based on the reactions from Vrabel and Russini after the initial story broke, there’s no way they thought anyone was onto them previously.
Also, this is diabolical timing from Page Six. The NFL Draft is tonight. All eyes are always on the NFL, but the Draft is basically New Year’s Day for the league. And they dropped this story right beforehand.
Look, I don’t really care about the affair on its own. People cheat. It’s fucked up, but it’s not national bombshell news. It’s a story as old as time. Sure, blowing up your marriage and family for one of the most annoying reporters in sports is a big deal. But what makes this worth writing about beyond juicy, Lane Kiffin-level gossip is everything that happens downstream of it.
Russini spent the entire 2025 season pushing reports that the Eagles were going to trade AJ Brown to the Patriots. She had a lot to say about a player she was reporting would end up playing for a head coach she was apparently sleeping with.
Those reports had a genuine destabilizing effect on the Eagles locker room and, by extension, on a franchise worth billions of dollars. You had players reading that stuff, agents reading that stuff, fans reading that stuff. The NFL is not just a game. It’s a multi-billion-dollar business that functions as a cultural institution, and the integrity of the people covering it matters.
When a reporter has an undisclosed personal relationship with a head coach and is simultaneously pushing stories about his players, that goes well beyond juicy tabloid gossip. It becomes a conflict of interest with real consequences.
Before this additional information was made public, Vrabel stated he’d be taking some time away from the team. Sure, he said he’d miss Day 3 of the Draft, so clearly this wasn’t all that urgent. But we’ll see if his tune changes after this report.
While this came as a shock to us all, one Twitter user managed to call it pretty much immediately. Hell, she probably hit send on this tweet after a morning session with Michael. This screenshot captures the very beginning of this story, I have no doubt.

Will there be more information coming out? For the sake of the spouses and children involved, I hope not. But if there is? We’ll be here to report it. And we won’t sleep with anyone to do it, either.
