Add this one to the list of bizarre Jalen Hurts moments from Monday night in Chicago. TJ Edwards was standing close enough to the Eagles huddle that he looked like he was getting the play call right along with everyone else, and then he went out and picked off Jalen Hurts on the very next snap.

I’m still not totally sure what I’m looking at in the video.

The camera angle probably makes Edwards look closer to Jalen Hurts and the huddle than he actually was. It doesn’t matter. He was close enough, and the result of the play tells you everything you need to know. A linebacker standing next to your huddle shouldn’t be the guy catching your quarterback’s pass a few seconds later.

It’s the perfect snapshot of that whole night.
