Joel Embiid has made a case for himself as one of the best two-way players in the NBA. Unfortunately, he is still missing that one legitimate push for the most valuable player of the league award. He has been left out of the conversation over the years due to his own individual health, and the Sixers not finishing as a top seed in the East. History will tell us that the MVP award tends to go to a player on a top seeded team in either respective conference.
Seth Curry not only has the second best three point percentage of all time, but he's ranked in the 95th percentile on spot-ups in three of his last four seasons. He provides range well beyond the three point line as well. Not to mention he provides some off the dribble shooting as well. Which is something the Sixers really haven't had in this era. Curry appears to be the perfect combo guard to start alongside Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.
Ben Simmons is entering his 4th season as a pro. He has made strides every single season. While they may not be the strides everyone was hoping for, they were still apparent nonetheless. This past season Simmons made a huge name for himself on the defensive end of the court, as he made the All NBA Defensive First Team. I think it's pretty safe to say that Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris will be the three locks in the starting lineup. The only way this changes is if any of them is injured or gets traded. Which is highly unlikely that any of them get traded. Daryl Morey has publicly stated multiple times they are not trading Ben or Joel.
