Eagles Sign Guard from Bears Practice Squad

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they have signed guard Jamon Brown to their active roster. Brown was previously on the Falcons practice squad before being picked up by the Eagles. Since being drafted in the third round of the 2015 draft, this will be the 5th team that Brown has been on. He has started some games for the Rams, Giants, and Falcons.

After last Sunday’s disaster, the Eagles needed to address the offensive line in any way that they possibly could. It was reported earlier today that starting right tackle Lane Johnson will play this Sunday. Lane will be a big boost to the offensive line, however, there are still some questions at the right guard spot. Brown could be in play to start, but I doubt that he could be ready for Sunday. If the injuries continue to pile up for the Eagles, we may see him make his debut this Sunday against Aaron Donald and the LA Rams.
