Eagles announce jersey numbers for 2021 rookie class

We have our first look at the numbers for the Eagles 2021 rookie class. Earlier today, the Eagles announced what numbers all nine of their draft picks would be wearing this upcoming season. DeVonta Smith’s 6 was heavily speculated since his selection, and he will take the number from Khalil Tate. Second-round pick Landon Dickerson will wear 51 for the Eagles after wearing 69 for Alabama. Here is a look at what the remainder of their draft picks will be wearing next season.
- Milton Williams, 93
- Zech McPhearson, 27
- Kenneth Gainwell, 14
- Marlon Tuipulotu, 90
- Tarron Jackson, 75
- JaCoby Stevens, 30
- Patrick Johnson, 48
Notable announcements include Gainwell wearing 14, which was recently made possible through the jersey rule change last month. Milton Williams will be wearing 93, worn before by Malik Jackson. The Eagles previously announced Javon Hargrave would be wearing 93, changing from 97, but it looks like he might be staying put instead. Philly also made it official that Darius Slay would be wearing 2, switching from 24, which he wore to honor the late Kobe Bryant.
