Early leaks surface regarding Eagles 2021 schedule

Although the full Eagles schedule doesnโ€™t drop until 8:00 tonight, early leaks have surfaced, showing how the first look at how next season will shape out. The Eagles will be on the road to start 2021, traveling to face the Atlanta Falcons. Philly fans wonโ€™t have to wait much longer after that for the first game at the Linc. In week two, the Eagles will be hosting the San Francisco 49ers.

One of the most anticipated road games for Eagles fans is when Philadelphia heads out west to face the Las Vegas Raiders. This matchup wonโ€™t come until halfway through the season on October 24th during week seven. Giants fans are eager to face the Eagles after DeVonta Smith was stolen from them during the 2021 NFL Draft. But they will have to wait as Phillyโ€™s trip to the Meadowlands wonโ€™t happen until week 12 on Sunday, November 28th. It hasnโ€™t been said yet if this is a night game, but it could be possible. Right before New York, the Eagles will host the New Orleans Saints during week 11.

Alongside the early releases, some of the Eaglesโ€™ primetime matchups have leaked also. Philly will host the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on Thursday Night Football on October 14th. Before that, though, their away game at Dallas on September 27th will be on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles have the easiest strength of schedule in 2021, a sigh of relief following their brutal 2020 campaign. Nine of their 16 games last season were against playoff teams, including the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams. Other notable opponents this upcoming season include both the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.
