Zach Ertz will not attend any offseason workouts for Eagles

It seems any possibility of Zach Ertz playing in an Eagles jersey again is fading away quickly. According to Jeff McLane, Ertz will not attend any offseason workout for the Eagles until he is moved via trade or release. This disgruntled relationship is nothing new, but some were possibly expecting Ertz to play for the Eagles next season after not being dealt during the NFL Draft.
There is a decent chance Philly is just waiting until June 1st to make a move, saving over $3 million more than cutting him currently. The 2020 season was a career-low by far for the veteran tight end, recording just 335 yards receiving last season and battling injuries. Some teams have reportedly shown interest in Zach, including the Indianapolis Colts led by his former QB, Carson Wentz.
