Report: Eagles add another receiver, waive QB Jamie Newman and WR Trevon Grimes

The Eagles are adding another receiver, reaching an agreement with former Jaguars’ WR Michael Walker, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter:
Former Jaguars’ WR Michael Walker reached agreement with the Eagles to sign in the next few days., per his agent @seanstellato. Walker was an Eagle in high school, an Eagle at Boston College and now an Eagle in the NFL.

Walker was undrafted out of Boston College back in 2019. He appeared in 7 games for the Jaguars that season, catching two passes for 15 yards. The 24-year-old caught 71 passes for 847 yards and 5 TDs in his 4 years at Boston College.
The team also waived WR Trevon Grimes and QB Jamie Newman. Grimes has had injury issues dating back to high school and recently underwent a knee procedure that wasn’t considered serious.

Walker had some punt/kick return duties his rookie year, did not play last year.
Eagles also waived QB Jamie Newman and WR Khalil Tate, and waived/injured WR Trevon Grimes.
