The entire NFL world was in shambles over the last 24 hours when Travis Kelce, the brother of Eagles center Jason Kelce stated that everyone had been mispronouncing their last name. Kelce stated that instead of pronouncing it like “Kell-See,” it was actually “Kells”. 

Several NFL stars were in shock regarding the news, including Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Luckily, Jason Kelce stepped in to calm everyone down and let them know they were, in fact, correct. 

“You got it right. It’s Kell-See”

Both brothers were correct in their pronunciations, with Jason explaining that they have gone by “Kell-See” their entire lives. Travis and Jason’s dad was being called “Kell-See” at work instead of “Kells” and didn’t do anything about it out of pure laziness. 

Thankfully, Jason resolved this entire situation quickly, and fans across the league got the closure they needed. For Philadelphia, the dog days of the offseason are almost over, with NFL training camp kicking off in just two weeks on July 27th.
