Joel Embiid tied for second best rating in NBA 2K22

After a dominant 2021 season, Joel Embiid is getting the recognition he deserves. Earlier today, 2K released their ratings for the upcoming NBA 2K22 and revealed their top-ten rankings. After being given a 91 overall last year, Joel Embiid is now tied for the second-best rating in the game with a 95 overall.
Joel is tied with Kawhi Leonard and the reigning MVP, Nikola Jokic. Ahead of them is LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry, who are all 96 overalls. To round out the top-ten, Luka Doncic, James Harden, and Damian Lillard were given a 94 overall.
After Madden was horrendous with their ratings of several Philadelphia Eagles, it’s a nice change of pace to see Joel ranked so highly. It’s hard to debate any of the top rankings, and having those stars listed ahead of Embiid is fair.
No other ratings have been released, but Seth Curry is ranked as the third-best three-point shooter in the game. Seth is behind only his brother Steph and Klay Thompson. If you want to check out Embiid for yourself, NBA 2K22 releases in just a few weeks on September 10th.
