Shams with a new Ben Simmons update that sounded like it came from the desk of Rich Paul and Klutch Sports

The Philadelphia 76ers have fined Ben Simmons (again) for failing to travel with the team on their current six-game road trip. As we know, the 76ers lost last Saturday and have the night off tonight before playing the Jazz tomorrow in Utah. The fact that the 76ers are continuing to fine Ben Simmons is hardly news. What else would they be doing? Regardless, here’s Shams telling us exactly what should be happening.
Simmons believes that the 76ers are trying to force him back on the team while he is dealing with mental health issues. Shams also touched on the fact that Rich Paul and Klutch Sports basically said the same thing last week in regards to Simmons and how the 76ers are handling this situation.
Of course, that’s not what’s happening. Shams doesn’t even mention that the 76ers are simply fining Ben Simmons for failing to provide proper updates from his medical team so the organization can have a better idea of what type of treatment he has been receiving and a timetable for his return. This makes perfect sense, since Ben Simmons, who’s 25 years old and has four years left on a max player contract, is supposed to be playing basketball for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Apparently Shams left that part out of his “breaking news” video, which probably came straight from the desk of Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.
Fine Ben Simmons until he decides to grow up and for the love of God, be better Shams.
