Eagles bringing out all black uniforms on Sunday against Saints

After going with a new style of white jerseys on black pants last week, the Eagles will don their blackout uniforms against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday. This will be the first time they’ve been worn all season, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

A win this Sunday skyrockets the Eagles’ playoff chances, and the team is still looking for their first home win of the season. When wearing all black, things always seem to work out. The last time Philadelphia squared off with the Saints, they wore all black and won 24-21 in Jalen Hurts’ first start at quarterback.

Why it took so long to bring them out is confusing but better late than never. Usually, the alternates are worn in primetime games, but the Birds opted against it in those games earlier this season. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 on Sunday at the Linc.
