Dallas Cowboys bring their own benches to away games, providing football fans another way to justify hating them

The Dallas Cowboys always find new ways to justify hating them, but this most recent act really shows the kind of franchise Jerry Jones is running down in Texas.
The Cowboys are in the nations capital today to face the Washington Football Team in a classic NFC battle. A tweet recently went out from Mitchell Tischler, an Operations Manager at NBC Sports Washington, showing stadium preparations ahead of today’s game.
The Cowboys flew their own sideline benches to FedEx Field ahead of their matchup against the Washington Football Team. Seriously.
Why is this necessary in the slightest? You can call it a power move all you want, but it’s an idiotic power move at best. It is true that opposing teams have complete control over their sidelines. However this is absolutely insane. Look at this picture.

It is just typical Cowboys, though, right? Only megalomaniac Jerry Jones would even think to spend time and resources on what amounts to a petty, underwhelming flex.
Look, I know that FedEx Field is a shit hole. If there was a place you’d want your own benches from home, it’d be that stadium. I’m sure the usual visitor benches are covered in raw sewage and MRSA. I’m not even being dramatic it’s a literal shit hole.
But that’s what football is all about…right? You go into hostile stadiums on the road looking to tough out a win against a division rival. Leave it to the Cowboys to besmirch the good name of American gridiron football by acting as a team of prima donnas as always.
Also, if you’re a loyal reader of The Liberty Line, you’re familiar with our serious commitment to protecting and preserving our environment. Clearly Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys do not share that same vision for a greener, cleaner American way of life. America’s team wouldn’t needlessly burn massive amounts of fossil fuels to get their stupid plastic, logo-plastered benches to flex on an opponent.
