Washington places three more players on COVID-19 list, bringing total to 21

Things aren’t getting any easier for the Washington Football Team ahead of a pivotal divisional matchup on Sunday.

The team continues to add to their CVS receipt of a COVID-list, placing three more players on the list on Thursday — including a defensive starter:

Safety Kamren Curl has played in every game for Washington this season, having 78 tackles, four passes defended, and a fumble recovery on the year.

Washington now has 21 total players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list — 17 on the active roster, two on IR, and two on the practice squad. The Eagles have just two players on their COVID-list in Quez Watkins and Jason Huntley.

Nick Sirianni stated yesterday that both Jalen Hurts and Gardner Minshew would get first-team reps this week as the former continues to recover from an ankle injury. Regardless of who’s under center, it looks as though the Eagles could be seeing a lot of Washington’s practice squad on Sunday.
