Eagles to wear black pants again this weekend against Washington

The Philadelphia Eagles are back in black this Sunday against the Washington Football Team. Earlier this afternoon, the Eagles announced they would be wearing black pants with their white jerseys this weekend.
This Sunday will be the 3rd time the Eagles have worn the black pants on the road this season. The previous two occasions were against the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, winning both games by a significant margin.
It’s also the 5th time Philadelphia has had black in their uniform this season, the most in franchise history. Last week, they wore all black at home against the Giants during their 34-10 blowout victory.
The new combination grew on fans after initially being met with mixed reactions. But after seeing the look on the field combined with their winning record, it has quickly become a fan favorite.
Jalen Hurts pushed for the combination earlier this season, and with its repeated use, there’s a chance it could become a permanent fixture next season.
The Eagles can only wear an alternate jersey twice a season, so the black jerseys won’t return next weekend. However, with Dallas’ bad luck wearing blue, Philadelphia could bring these back for the fourth time in Week 18.
