Nick Sirianni sent two kegs to Jason Kelce to convince him to return next season

Nick Sirianni joined the rats over on the WIP Morning Show to talk about his Philadelphia Eagles and more specifically, what Jason Kelce plans to do this offseason.
Over the past few seasons, it has been rumored that Jason Kelce would retire. But as Sirianni said on WIP, he’s doing everything possible to convince Kelce to stick around for next year. His strategy? Send Jason Kelce as much beer as possible, starting with two kegs.
Genius move by Sirianni. What does Jason Kelce absolutely love? Well, crushing beers of course. Everyone knows that. The Eagles center is a staple of Sea Isle City during the Summer months and is always seen deleting beers whenever he is given the opportunity to do so.
Hell, even last season after the opener in Atlanta, Kelce accepted some frothy goodness from fans before walking off the field. Credit to Nick Sirianni for knowing his players and what makes them tick. There’s nothing better to offer Kelce than two full kegs of beer to give it another go next season.
Plus, have you ever worked for someone that gave you two kegs to continue to work there? I sure haven’t. Quite the opposite actually. After I graduated college and showed up to work smelling like I drank two kegs of beer, I had to plead with human resources so I could keep my job.
If you could make millions of dollars, play football, and have your coach send you kegs, there’s no way you walk away from that type of agreement.
At this point in his career, Kelce is a Philadelphia icon and it would be tough to accept that he won’t be at center next season for the Philadelphia Eagles. If beer is swaying his decision to play again, then honestly, let’s make sure he has plenty to last the entire offseason.
