Ben Simmons derangement syndrome continues to infect the people of Philadelphia. Earlier today, a clip released by NBC10 Philadelphia featured a fan with a huge “Fuck Ben Simmons” sign making his way to Center City to put his feelings about the Sixers’ point guard on full display.

When asked by the NBC 10 producer to share his feelings, the Simmons Protester simply replied “google him” and continued to walk, covering his face from the camera.

I found this to be pretty bizarre. You have a giant white sign with huge words colored in black permanent marker saying “Fuck Ben Simmons” but you are worried about revealing your identity?

At first, I thought it was that same loser from Barstool Philly pretending to be a Philly guy and making another sign that Barstool can put all over their social accounts pawning him off to innocent followers as a random 76ers fan. That clearly wasn’t the case, because he would have been foaming at the mouth to get some camera time.

The entire video doesn’t make sense. You have NBC 10 blurring out the FUCK on the sign. You have a guy with a huge, obnoxious sign, worrying about being noticed while he’s walking mid-day into Center City.

Is it possible one of his friends was asking for the sign and he had to be the asshole carrying it and simply did not want to be associated with it as he begrudgingly walked into the city?

Is he one of those deep state actors looking to cause a commotion after the Ben Simmons reports from yesterday? I have so many questions and this guy is providing zero answers. Either go all in and express your frustrations with Simmons or just stay at home, man. No need to go half-in. Make up your mind!
