MLB Futures: Phillies Player Odds for Regular Season Stat Leaders

The Philadelphia Phillies are gearing up for one of their most anticipated seasons in recent memory. With just four days til Opening Day, it’s time to get some bets in. We’ve already run through a ton of odds here at The Liberty Line, including National League Rookie of the Year, and MLB futures last week. Today we’re going to check out player odds for the 2022 regular season.
MLB Home Run Leader
- Bryce Harper +2000
- Kyle Schwarber +2500
- Rhys Hoskins +6600
- Nick Castellanos +8000

2021 HR Numbers: Castellanos (34), Harper (35), Schwarber (32), Hoskins (27)
The Phillies acquired two power-hitters this offseason in Nick Castellanos and Kyle Schwarber, who will be joining Rhys Hoskins and Bryce Harper in the lineup.
Needless to say, there will be a ton of home runs this year.
Bryce Harper seems like the most obvious pick here at +2000, coming off an MVP season, with a hot start in Spring Training as well. Kyle Schwarber at +2500 is a sneaky pick for me this year. Schwarber hit 25 HRs in 72 games last season with the Nationals before he was traded, and he’s now reunited with Kevin Long once again.
It’s going to be tough to beat Vladdy Jr. or Shohei Ohtani, but don’t count any four of these Phillies out in 2022.
Favorite Plays: Mike Trout +1400, Kyle Schwarber +2500
MLB Hits Leader
- Nick Castellanos +2000
- Bryce Harper +2500
- Jean Segura +3000

2021 Hits: Nick Castellanos (164), Bryce Harper (151), Jean Segura (149)
Two Toronto Blue Jays stars, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette top the list for the 2022 MLB Hits Leader. Trae Turner took the crown last year, and I like him to do it again this year at +1200.
Nick Castellanos at +2000 is a potential play as well, who finished with 164 hits last year which was 21st in all of baseball.
Favorite Play: Trae Turner +1200
MLB RBI Leader
- Bryce Harper +1800
- Nick Castellanos +4000
- Rhys Hoskins +8000

2021 RBIs: Nick Castellanos (100), Bryce Harper (84), Rhys Hoskins (71)
Three Phillies come in with odds for the RBI Leader in 2022, with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. taking the top spot once again. All three of these Phillies players are going to have many at-bats with RISP this season, with the new and improved Top 6. If Rhys Hoskins hits 5th like it’s been predicted, Bryce Harper and Nick Castellanos will be on base for a majority of his at-bats.
Rhys Hoskins has the pressure taken off of him this year and was on track for over 100 RBIs last season before his injury. Hoskins is looking to build off his great 2021 season and will constantly have players on base when he’s at the plate.
Favorite Play: Vlad Guerrero Jr +650, Sprinkle on Rhys Hoskins at +8000
MLB Runs Leader
- Bryce Harper +1600
- Nick Castellanos +4000
- Rhys Hoskins +5000

2021 Runs Scored: Bryce Harper (101), Nick Castellanos (95), Rhys Hoskins (64)
Bryce Harper finished 14th in runs scored last year, and will now have Nick Castellanos, Rhys Hoskins, and JT Realmuto hitting behind him. Castellanos is a hit machine, and Harper is a maniac on the basepaths.
Favorite Play: Bryce Harper +1600
MLB Wins Leader
- Zack Wheeler +900
- Aaron Nola +2500
- Ranger Suarez +5000

2021 Wins: Zack Wheeler (14), Aaron Nola (9), Ranger Suarez (8)
Gerrit Cole takes the top spot at +650, with Walker Buehler and Max Scherzer tied for the second spot at +800. Phillies’ Zack Wheler is tied with Jacob deGrom at +900, with Kevin Gausman at +1500 rounding out the Top 6.
Zack Wheeler is coming off the best season of his career and is looking to take a step forward in 2022. Ranger Suarez is going to tear up the National League this season and could be a dark-horse play with great value.
Favorite Play: Zack Wheeler +900, Sprinkle on Ranger Suarez at +5000
MLB Strikeout Leader
- Zack Wheeler +1200
- Aaron Nola +1300

2021 Strikeouts: Zack Wheeler (247, 1st), Aaron Nola (223, 5th)
If Aaron Nola pitches like 2018 Aaron Nola, the Phillies will have two of the best pitchers in the National League. Zack Wheeler struck out the most batters in all of baseball last season, and Aaron Nola K’d up 220+ during a down-year. Jacob deGrom takes the top spot, but the star pitcher is reported to miss an extended period of time with another injury.
Zack Wheeler was the K’s leader last season for the Phillies and is being disrespected with these odds heading into the 2022 season.
Favorite Play: Zack Wheeler +1200
MLB Saves Leader
- Corey Knebel +4000

2021 Saves: Corey Knebel (3)
The Phillies acquired Corey Knebel this offseason, who will be back in a closer role for the first time since 2019 when he totaled 16 saves. He tallied 39 saves in his All-Star season of 2017, where he finished tied for 4th in all of baseball. Aroldis Chapman takes the top spot at +400 who is tied with Edwin Diaz, the king of pointing to the sky on home runs.
Favorite Play: Liam Hendriks +1100
