Robert Griffin III and LeSean McCoy battle it out on Twitter over Russell Wilson
Former NFL players Robert Griffin III and LeSean McCoy got into a heated Twitter battle on Thursday night. After Broncos QB and known weirdo Russell Wilson turned in yet another horrendous performance this season, RGIII went ahead and did some playful roasting on the timeline.
McCoy clearly took issue with Griffin’s tweet, and he let him know:
RGIII was clearly offended by Shady’s comments, and proceeded to reply with the salty reply you see above. Plus, Shady ratio’d the shit out of him as well, which meant anything he said
Sadly for RGIII, LeSean was far from finished. He didn’t take the disrespect lightly.
Credit to Griffin, he simply refused to take the L on this one. However, his rebuttal was pretty weak.
He really seems to believe he had/would have had a better career than Shady. That’s simply stupid, because it’s likely McCoy is going to the Hall of Fame.
Deion Sanders saw the beef unfolding and tried to settle the two down. Based on how the rest of the exchange went, it’s pretty clear my guy Shady came out the victor.
Meanwhile, RGIII folded immediately. Embarrassing.
That whole argument was incredibly stupid. RGIII’s play style led to those injuries.
If he wanted to have a better career than Shady he could have. Instead, he didn’t develop into a pocket passer post injury, and pretty much sucked major ass for the remainder of his career.
Not only did that impact his career earnings, but he’s a part of the reason mobile QBs like Lamar Jackson continue to get disrespected (and go unpaid).
