WATCH: Eagles CB Darius Slay is looking to add to his “GOAT balls” collection this Sunday night

Not only is Eagles Pro Bowl corner Darius Slay pretty damn good at his job, he might be the funniest player on the team off the field.

Slay and his Eagles are preparing to face Aaron Rodgers this weekend, one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Back when Slay was a member of the Detroit Lions, he and Rodgers were pretty familiar with one another, facing off twice a year from 2013-’19.

Though Darius Slay has seen Rodgers over a dozen times on the field, the Eagles CB has yet to intercept the future Hall of Famer. He has picked off two other GOATs throughout his career, Tom Brady and Drew Brees. This weekend, he’ll be looking to add another interception to his “GOAT balls” collection.

Darius Slay: “I’ve got them GOAT balls. I’ve got two. I need that third one.”

“I got Tom and Drew,” Darius Slay told Eagles reporters. “I ain’t get to play with [Peyton] Manning because he was at the end when I came in, he retired one year later. I got them GOAT balls. I only got two. I need that third one. A-Rod, give it to me.”

Am I child for thinking a grown man stating the phrase “GOAT balls” is hilarious? Absolutely. I am unashamed to admit that.

If Slay manages to intercept Rodgers this weekend, it’ll give him four INTs on the season, good for the second-most he’s ever recorded in a single season. And more importantly, his “GOAT balls” collection will grow by one.
