WATCH: Meek Mill runs routes for Howie Roseman with Michael Rubin covering him in wild crossover
Meek Mill. Howie Roseman. Michael Rubin. Something truly special has to happen to get these three men in a room together. But the three of them on a football field? With Meek running routes, Howie dropping dimes, and Rubin showcasing Darius Slay-esque makeup speed? That’s the greatest crossover of 2022.
The Howie Roseman to Meek Mill connection is tough to stop, but Michael Rubin made an excellent effort:
DAMN.
Meek was shifty coming off the line of scrimmage and had Rubin beat, but a poor throw from Howie allowed the former 76ers owner to turn on the jets and make a hell of a play on the ball.
Some NFL DBs don’t have that same kind of discipline on underthrows. Guys making millions of dollars a year turn plays identical to that one into 30+ yard pass interference penalties on a weekly basis.
It was great to see these big Philly names come out in support of a good cause. It was even better seeing Howie load up and let one fly deep.
Even with the incompletion, Howie wasn’t rattled. Look how composed he is in the pocket with dozens of eyes on him.
Now I know where Jalen Hurts gets his poise from.
