Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs bends the knee, acknowledges Jalen Hurts as league MVP

Well, well, well — it appears that the Dallas Cowboys are starting to come to their senses.
Much has been made about the two-man MVP race between Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes. Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs seems to have made his decision on who truly deserves the award this season.
Diggs has never publicly stated that Hurts is his MVP, but one quick scroll through his likes on Twitter will tell you enough:

Even more recently, Diggs commented “MVP” on Hurts’ Instagram post following yesterday’s win over Chicago:

It’s awfully kind of Diggs to support Hurts, considering Dallas and Philadelphia are division rivals and have an upcoming matchup on Christmas Eve. Although, perhaps this is a PR move to weather the storm created by his teammate, Micah Parsons, who questioned Hurts’ MVP candidacy on a podcast last week.
Dallas is coming off a crushing loss to Jacksonville but still managed to clinch a playoff berth thanks to Washington’s loss on Sunday night. As for the Eagles, they’re just one win away from clinching both the NFC East title and a first-round bye. They’ll try to secure that victory this Saturday against Dallas.
