Eagles land Top 10 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft thanks to the New Orleans Saints losing to the Carolina Panthers in Week 18

The Philadelphia Eagles will have a Top 10 selection in the 2023 NFL Draft thanks to the New Orleans Saints losing to the Carolina Panthers in Week 18.
Eagles get the No. 10 pick via New Orleans
In last year’s NFL Draft, the Eagles traded two of their three first-round draft picks and a sixth round pick to the Saints, receiving a 2022 first-round pick (No. 18), a 2023 first-round pick, a 2024 second-round pick, plus 2022 third-round (No. 101) and seventh-round selections (No. 237).
Philadelphia managed to clinch the No. 1 seed and a first round bye today with a 22-16 win over New York Giants. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the New Orleans saints fell to 7-10 on the year with their loss to the Panthers, finishing in third place in the NFC South. Their season is now over.
The NFC Playoffs will now have to go through Philadelphia.
