With QB Jalen Hurts back under center, the Eagles managed to clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC along with the NFC East title after defeating the Giants 22-16 on Sunday.

The road to the Super Bowl will now come through Philadelphia. For each of the three Super Bowl trips in Eagles history, they had the No. 1 seed. History is on their side entering the postseason.

It’s on this team to make sure history repeats itself. Accountability has been one of the many themes surrounding the 2022 Eagles, and Jalen Hurts has been the one leading the charge.

During his postgame victory speech, he made sure to hammer that point home.

“Let’s run this shit up bro. This shit gotta come through us,” Hurts said. “Like this whole fucking year, everything has been dependant on who? On us. We control what we can, we go and play our type of ball, nobody can fuck with us. But we have to clean up this little shit. We have yet to play our best ball as a team, I know it. … Let’s get this shit going so we can play our best ball in front of us when we need it the most.”

Yep, I’m ready for the postseason.
