WATCH: Madden 23 simulation sees Eagles dominate Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII

Ladies and gentleman, it’s officially Super Bowl week. Our Philadelphia Eagles are set to face off with the Kansas City Chiefs this upcoming Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
After the supposed script for Super Bowl LVII leaked over the weekend, the team over at EA Sports decided to drop their Madden 23 simulation for the big game. They didn’t showcase much footage of the sim, but based on the final score, it seems like the Eagles dominate from start to finish.
Eagles win big in Madden 23 simulation of Super Bowl LVII
Some of the key stats from the Madden 23 simulation:
- Patrick Mahomes goes 29/39 for 249 yards with one touchdown and one INT
- AJ Brown torches Chiefs secondary, going for 114 yards on eight catches, including one touchdown
- CJ Gardner-Johnson picks off Mahomes
- DPOY candidate Chris Jones notches four tackles and two sacks
Based on the stats provided by the Madden team, I’m assuming Brown takes home the Super Bowl MVP award. We don’t get a glimpse at Jalen Hurts’ stats here, but it looks like he tosses at least two touchdowns in the win.
Madden has been tracking their Super Bowl simulations since 2004. During that time, they’ve correctly predicted the outcome 12 times in 19 years for a 63 percent success rate. Not bad for a video game.
