Flyers fans ‘Sell The Team’ protest happened today at Xfinity Live!

The Philadelphia Flyers “Sell The Team” protest happened today and the turnout was less than ideal.
Flyers Fans “Sell The Team” Protest
Side Note: Kyle from Crossing Broad appears to be on the scene which means a video is coming. Should be great.
Not the best scene here. Obviously.
But credit to those who stuck to their guns and attended today’s event. At the very least, they got to enjoy some beers together and celebrate the fact that Chuck Fletcher’s reign of terror is finally over.
Unfortunately, the same amount of people that show up for Flyers games actually attended the protest.
While I do feel bad that the rally wasn’t the success that fans hoped it would be, maybe after the organization fired Chuck Fletcher, people who planned on attending took that as a victory and decided to spend their Saturday doing something else.
That or they are now holding strong to my suggestion of not acknowledging the Flyers, attending events, games, or buying merchandise.
4 Actions to Take to Enforce Organizational Change
- Don’t buy merchandise.
- Don’t attend games.
- Don’t watch on television.
- Unfollow all social media accounts.
Chuck Fletcher gone is certainly a victory but if we’re being honest, a bigger effort is needed if you want to overthrow an organization like Comcast Spectacor.
Baby steps. Celebrate the small victories.
