DeVonta Smith to host 2nd-annual celebrity softball game, face NFC East Rival in epic matchup

DeVonta Smith announced his Second Annual Celebrity Softball Game this week. The game will be held at Coca-Cola Park and feature teams captained by Smitty and Commanders receiver and Penn State product Jahan Dotson.
The rosters for DeVonta Smith’s celebrity softball game are star-studded, to say the least:
Of course, Smitty’s team is made up of mostly Eagles players from past and present. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like AJ Brown will be competing this time around.
Although, it’s likely Brown is working on his bid to play pro baseball. I imagine his talent level precludes him from what’s meant to be a mostly fun day at the ballpark courtesy of DeVonta Smith and St. Luke’s Hospital.
Also, I can’t explain why, but I’m stuck with the idea of Terrell Owens and Jake Elliot forming a brotherly bond over the course of the event. I just think a Step Brothers-esque bromance between the two would be genuinely hilarious.
His first softball game was a smashing success, drawing a great crowd and attracting some of the biggest names in the sport. Sure, it helps that he plays on a team that just went to the Super Bowl, but I digress.

So, if you’re free on Saturday, June 10, and want to head out to the home of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs to take in some ball and support a good cause, you know where to go.
