WATCH: Former Cowboys wideout gives incoherent take on Hurts vs. Dak debate

Remember Terrance Williams? He had a nice little stint with the Dallas Cowboys from 2013-’18 as the team’s WR2. Now retired, he’ll occasionally make appearances on various media outlets to share his opinions on all the happenings in the NFL.
Williams decided to chime in on the Jalen Hurts vs. Dak Prescott debate this week on a small podcast out of the Dallas area. Simply put, it was one of the worst, most incoherent takes I’ve ever heard in my life.

At the end of the day, Williams was with Dallas for his entire career, so he’s always going to lean towards the Cowboys in debates like this. But it doesn’t mean his argument here holds any validity, or even makes any sense.
He says Jalen Hurts is more of a runner. Well, yeah. When you’re as good as it as Hurts is, you’re going to use it to your advantage. For the record, Hurts was a better passer than Dak by a wide margin last season.
Jalen Hurts: 22 TDs, 6 INTs, 3,701 yards, 66.5 completion percentage, 101.5 passer rating.
Dak Prescott: 23 TDs, 15 INTs, 2,860 yards, 66.2 completion percentage, 91.1 passer rating.
Also, Dak started three less games than Hurts last year and still managed to record nine more interceptions than him.
The former Cowboys WR also said that Dak “has the luxury” of passing for over 400 yards or running for over 50 yards whenever he wants. In 13 starts last year, Prescott didn’t have a single game where he threw for 400 yards (he only had one game over 300), or a single game with at least 50 rushing yards.
I could go on and on pointing out how stupid this clip is, but I’ll just leave it at that.
If any Cowboys fan directs me to this clip in a Jalen vs. Dak debate, they’re getting blocked.
