Former Eagles CB Rasul Douglas slams Madden 24 for James Bradberry disrespect

Former Eagles CB Rasul Douglas had some choice words for Madden’s ratings adjustment team on Twitter this week.
With Madden 24 slated to release in a few weeks, the Madden team has been dropping their positional ratings as a marketing strategy for the game. It’s certainly gotten people talking, but not necessarily in the way Madden intended. They’ve been getting dragged on social media, by players and fans alike, for the ratings they’ve been giving players.
Douglas voiced his displeasure with the Madden team as well, specifically in regards to Eagles All-Pro corner James Bradberry, who will enter the season with an 85 overall, good for 19th among cornerbacks in the game.
Like Douglas points out, if a player is an All-Pro, that means they were top-two at their position for that respective year. How that translates to being the 19th-best corner in Madden is beyond me – or anyone else who watches football.

This is why no one should really take Madden ratings seriously. Plus, anyone who’s played Madden knows it’s not real football anyway. It’s a glitchy mess and once gamers find the exploitive plays that work against any defense, it’s just not fun anymore.
Douglas then went on to say what everyone else is thinking.
Maybe Madden will wake up with all this criticism and start making good games, but I doubt it.
