Jalen Hurts Slander: Ex-NFL player says Eagles QB has never made a great throw in his career

The Jalen Hurts slander is reaching new heights as we approach the start of the 2024 regular season.
We’ve heard it all in regards to QB1, but former NFL wideout James Jones is adamant on taking it to the extreme.
Jones just landed a new gig on one of FS1’s flagship programs, “Speak,” co-hosting alongside LeSean McCoy, Emmanuel Acho, and Joy Taylor. Over the past week or so, he decided to drum up this Justin Fields vs. Jalen Hurts debate to spew some of the dumbest talking points you’ll ever hear.
James Jones, for no logical reason, shitting on Jalen Hurts for two minutes straight

Before we get into why everything Jones said was incorrect, I gotta say, this is just terrible television. Does this type of commentary actually entertain people? It’s a competition of who can say the stupidest thing the loudest. Not my cup of tea.
Alright, now onto Jones’ dumbass comments.
First, he stated that Fields is a more talented passer than Hurts. Whatever – the whole ‘he’s more talented’ argument is just a red herring fallacy. It’s distracting from the more important facts of the situation. To put it in simple terms, who gives a shit if you’re ‘more talented’ if the results aren’t matching the talent? It’s more impressive to exceed expectations with less talent, which is what Jalen Hurts has done in this example. Jones played himself here (like a dumbass).
He then went onto to list off all the players on the Eagles roster, arguing that that the team is the reason for Hurts’ success. Yep, heard that one before too.
Jalen Hurts missed two games last season. The Eagles lost both of those games to inferior opponents. It really is as simple as that.
Jones wasn’t done there, though. As if everything else he said wasn’t dumb enough, he just had to throw a cherry on top for good measure. He wanted us to know how stupid he actually is, and by God, he achieved that goal.
James Jones: “There’s not one throw that you can say, ‘Dang, that was a heck of a throw by Jalen Hurts.'”
Lol at Acho immediately pinpointing a specific throw to Dallas Goedert in the Super Bowl. Jones, of course, refuted that it was a good throw.
Let’s take a look.
Looks pretty good to me!
But what do I know? I’m just some Philly sports fan who writes about the Eagles. I’m clearly no James Jones – a guy who got a gig in sports media solely because he played in the NFL and openly states incorrect facts for the sake of views on social media. Yeah, I still have a ways to go before I reach that level.
Obviously the boy Jones is a senseless moron trying to make himself sound relevant, RIDICULOUS.
Everything James Jones said was correct! Bottom line is they both are good qb’s! At the present Jalen has accomplished more, Justin has a higher ceiling let’s see what happens! That east coast bias peeing on James Jones is crap! He said it! He was right!
He said “there isn’t one throw you can say, ‘Dang, that was a heck of a throw by Jalen Hurts.’” Essentially saying he’s never made an impressive throw in his career – that’s objectively false and if you disagree you’re the one with bias
