Rodgers, 25, was suspended for at least the 2023 season for violating the NFL’s gambling policy, leading to his release minutes later. Rodgers will not be with the team until his suspension is lifted, so this is a stash move by GM Howie Roseman.
According to Pro Football Focus, Rodgers graded out at 82.1, the fifth-highest overall grade in the NFL. Across his three seasons with the Colts, Rodgers tallied 90 tackles, 10 passes defended, and three interceptions while appearing in 45 games.
The former sixth-round pick also brings extensive experience as a kick returner, averaging 27.0 yards per return and taking one back for a TD in 2020.
Following the signing, Philadelphia now one the deepest CB rooms.

Another example of a great low-risk, high-reward signing by Howie.
