Howie Roseman fleeced the Titans so badly Wikipedia named them the new Eagles farm team

Howie Roseman has been treating the Tennessee Titans like his personal minor-league affiliate for years, and Wikipedia finally made it official. His latest lopsided trade saw the Eagles acquire safety Kevin Byard for what was essentially a bag of peanuts and a pat on the ass.

• Draft pick (CB Roger McCreary)
• S Terrell Edmunds
• 5th-round pick
• 6th round pick

Unfortunately for the Titans, it doesn’t look like that whistle’s getting blown anytime soon. Fortunately for the Eagles, AJ Brown has been every bit as advertised and then some, and Kevin Byard is a perfect fit in the defense

Oh, and in case you thought it couldn’t get any better for Howie Roseman and the Birds, they didn’t even give up their own draft picks. One of the picks included was a pick from Tennessee, so it basically cancels out as far as I’m concerned.

New Eagles secondary:

• CB: Darius Slay
• CB: James Bradberry
• SCB: Bradley Roby
• S: Reed Blankenship
• S: Kevin Byard

The Eagles are responsible for paying Byard $2.4M in base salary this season. Conversely, the Titans will eat a combined dead cap hit of $22M over the next two years. Byard is also owed $14.1M in salary next season, and the Eagles can either give him a new deal or cut their losses for nothing after 2023.

I mean, seriously, Tennessee. If this guy’s calling you, why the fuck do you keep answering the phone?
