Brotherly Love: Tyrese Maxey, Bryce Harper among Philly athletes in attendance for Eagles 28-23 win over the Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys 28-23 to improve to 8-1 on the season today and did so with Bryce Harper, Tyrese Maxey, and the newest members of the Sixers who arrived in the James Harden Trade earlier this week in attendance.

Imagine showing this picture to someone last year with the creepy Sixth Man guy, Tyrese Maxey, with Robert Covington, Kenyon Martin Jr, and Marcus Morris. It’s pretty wild how different the Philadelphia 76ers are this season, right?

Regardless, the Sixers are playing some damn good basketball under new head coach Nick Nurse and are currently 4-1 on the season. Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, and newcomer Kelly Oubre Jr. are all averaging over 20 points per game to start the 2023-24 season.

Also in attendance was none other than Bryce Harper.

I was really hoping that we’d see Harper with Mike Trout but didn’t manage to see any pictures of the two floating around on social media. Would have been perfect to have Bryce in Trout’s ear about demanding a trade out from Los Angeles to come play centerfield for the Phillies in 2024, but there’s still plenty of time to make happen.

Harper was also in attendance at the Philadelphia Flyers game over the weekend, sitting right against the glass with the rest of the fans in attendance.

Just some good, old fashioned Brotherly Love. Gotta love it. It’s always cool seeing other athletes from Philly sports teams out at other sporting events. Jason Kelce was a regular at Phillies postseason games and we even saw Maxey and Embiid attend as well.

Philadelphia is now 8-1 on the season and will have a BYE next week before heading to Kansas City to play the Chiefs on Monday Night Football the following week.
