The Philadelphia Eagles are road favorites against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football
The Philadelphia Eagles are -3.5 road favorites against the Seattle Seahawks in a Week 15 game that will now be played on Monday Night Football.
The Seattle Seahawks have been a dumpster fire over the past six weeks of the NFL regular season, posting a miserable 1-5 record.
Seattle Seahawks Last 6 Games
- Week 9: @ Ravens (LOSS)
- Week 10: vs Commanders (WIN OT)
- Week 11: @ Rams (LOSS)
- Week 12: vs 49ers (LOSS)
- Week 13: @ Cowboys (LOSS)
- Week 14: @ 49ers (LOSS)
Seattle is also dealing with injuries to starting quarterback Geno Smith, who continues to be sidelined with a groin issue. Drew Lock started last game for the Seahawks and as of this morning, it’s not perfectly clear if Smith will be ready to go on Monday night.
As we all know the Eagles started the season 10-1 and maintained a stranglehold on the NFC’s top seed before dropping two straight games by a combined 43 points.

All of the sudden “Fraud Sirens” have flooded social media and no one has a lick of faith in the Philadelphia Eagles doing much of anything over the final four weeks of the regular season, let alone in the playoffs regardless of seeding.
While there are a million different things that certainly need to be cleaned up over the final four weeks to better prepare this team for another Super Bowl run, a favorable schedule down the stretch presents the perfect “get right” opportunity.
Even after losing to Dallas on Sunday Night Football, the Eagles can still clinch the NFC East if they win out and finish 14-3 thanks to conference record.
According to the New York Times, the Eagles have a 72% chance of winning the division.

Playoff Picture: How the Eagles can still win NFC East, clinch first-round bye
The path to a first-round bye and home-field advantage is a little more complicated. The Eagles are now at the mercy of tiebreakers, and they’ll lose the No. 1 seed in any scenario that has them tied with San Francisco due to head-to-head victory.
If Dallas and Philadelphia finish tied atop the conference at 14-3, the Eagles would clinch a bye due to the aforementioned division title. If Detroit and Philadelphia finish tied for first place, the Eagles would win the No. 1 seed with a victory over Seattle, based on strength of victory.
Moral of the story: Philly needs the 49ers to lose a game or two down the stretch. We’ll have a clearer understanding over the next few weeks, but the Eagles have a 23% chance of claiming the top seed as of Week 15.

Whoever doesn’t win the NFC East will likely be road favorites over the NFC South winner in the wildcard.
Tampa Bay leads that division with a 6-7 record.
The Eagles gave themselves room for error thanks to a strong start, but that margin is now gone. If there’s any hope for the playoffs to come through Philadelphia, they better start winning again and there’s no better time than on Monday Night Football in Seattle.
