Stay or Go: Full list of Philadelphia Eagles free agents heading into the offseason
Well Philadelphia Eagles fans, welcome to the 2024-2025 NFL offseason. Here’s a list of the free agents heading into next season and honestly, there’s not many that I would want to bring back next year.
Philadelphia Eagles Free Agents this Offseason
Note: “Key Free Agents” is definitely a stretch from Schefty. There’s really only 2-3 guys on that list that are starters anyways but we’ll play along and go through the entire bunch and figure out who should stay or go this offseason.
Trust me, it’s a pretty simple exercise.
Okay so let’s make this super easy on everyone. The Eagles should only bring back D’Andre Swift and Braden Mann. We can also include Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham just because they are veterans and not really considered starters at this point of their careers.
BG is on record already saying he wants to return for one final season. We have yet to hear from Fletcher Cox or Lane Johnson about their futures. Jason Kelce already announced his retirement.
Everyone else? Yeah, they can see themselves out.
Return to Eagles Next Season:
- RB D’Andre Swift
- P Braden Mann
- DT Fletcher Cox
- DE Brandon Graham
Pack Your Bags:
- WR Quez Watkins
- G Iosua Opeta
- LB Nicholas Morrow
- LB Zach Cunningham
- LB Shaquille Leonard
- CB Bradley Roby
- WR Olamide Zaccheaus
- RB Boston Scott
- QB Marcus Mariota
- WR Julio Jones
- OT Jack Driscoll
- RB Rashaad Penny
Last night completed the slowest, most painful collapse of any professional sports team in Philadelphia in history. Heads will roll and rightfully so. We can start with the free agents above but honestly, there are plenty of other players that should be on the chopping block heading into the offseason.
The Eagles also need to get rid of James Bradberry and Darius Slay. Kenny Gainwell can go too. They also need a brand new linebacker room and really, no one should return on the coaching staff besides Offensive Line coach Jeff Stoutland.
Just lovely coming from a football team one-year removed from the Super Bowl, right?
After starting the season 10-1, squeaking out comeback victories, the Eagles finished by losing five out of their last six games in the regular season. Toss in a loss to the Buccaneers last night, and they lost six out of their final seven games. Honestly, it should have been seven straight losses but thankfully, the Giants had a case of Tommy DeVito fever which blinded them for the first half of the Eagles lone win over the final two months of the season.
Point being, there are sweeping organizational changes needed and bringing back a bunch of junk from this failed season seems pretty useless.

Hi Drew! I know the Eagles lost and it is frustrating but they will do better next year! Please come read my blog articles! https://sophiakd4.wordpress.com/
