Eagles’ Brandon Graham says 2024 will be his ‘farewell tour’ as he closes out his NFL career

After the Philadelphia Eagles’ miserable loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the Wildcard finale Monday night, Brandon Graham told reporters that he’ll be back next season, but that it will likely be his last.

“It’ll be my farewell tour next year,” BG told reporters when asked if he’ll be returning next season. “If the Eagles want me to do it one more time, I would love to be here for another year. Because I know we got something special. And, you know, 15 [seasons], my farewell tour, I’ll be done next year.”

Appearing on the 94WIP Morning Show this morning, Brandon Graham added that he always wanted to get 15 NFL seasons under his belt before hanging it up. Next year would be his 15th.

This comes after Hall of Fame center Jason Kelce told teammates last night that he was planning to retire this offseason. None of this news comes as a shock, but it’s undeniably sad that this is the way Kelce is leaving the game; as a member of a team that visibly quit in a playoff game against a 9-8 team.

Hopefully, the Eagles can send BG off under better circumstances next season.
