Jason Kelce Retires

Jason Kelce informed teammates in the locker room last night that he is retiring after 13 seasons

According to reports, Jason Kelce is retiring after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

After years of speculation on whether or not Kelce would return for another year, the soon-to-be Hall of Fame center for the Philadelphia Eagles informed teammates last night in the locker room after the Eagles lost 32-9 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that he would be hanging up the cleats for good.

It was a miserable ending to a historic career for Jason Kelce. There was no “Last Dance” storybook ending. Instead, it was an exhausting finale clouded by a historic collapse over the final two months of the regular season with a miserable playoff performance against the Buccaneers in the Wild Card round.

The result, was Kelce in tears on the sideline after last night’s loss.

I know the vibes are incredibly low in Philadelphia right now, but it’s important we don’t let the Eagles organization failure this year cloud what Jason Kelce has accomplished over his legendary 13-year NFL career.

Nobody within the Philadelphia Eagles organization deserves the city of Philadelphia’s respect more than Jason Kelce. This is a man that gave literally everything he had to the Eagles organization and city of Philadelphia over the past 13 years.

One hell of a ride for Jason Kelce

The city of Philadelphia should be forever grateful for Jason Kelce. He was an undersized sixth round draft pick that turned into an absolute legend on and off the football field. Not many athletes will ever represent Philadelphia like Jason Kelce and for that, he will always have a special place in our hearts.

Jason Kelce is the greatest center of all time and a living legend.
