Report: AFC team interested in former Eagles WR Quez Watkins
The Eagles signed WR DeVante Parker last week to compete for the WR3 job, likely spelling the end of Quez Watkins’ tenure in Philadelphia.
Watkins, a 2020 sixth-round pick, played the entirety of his rookie contract in Philadelphia, logging 43 catches for 647 yards in 2021 before tailing off the last two seasons.
The addition of star WR AJ Brown likely contributed to his regression, but Watkins seemed to always come up short in critical moments.
A league source confirmed to The Liberty Line that Philadelphia is unlikely to re-sign Watkins, but he is garnering interest from another team, per Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.
Dolphins have been poking around on more receivers to fill out their rotation. Among the names they've inquired about, per source: Quez Watkins, who caught 98 for 1249 and 6 TDs for Eagles over past 4 years. I'm sure there are others too. Not sure who they'll add but more to come

The Dolphins have Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Braxton Berrios (who they re-signed today) in place at receiver — Watkins would provide even more speed for Miami’s high-octane offense.
Watkins appeared in nine games last season for the Eagles, catching 15 passes for 142 yards (9.5 YPC) and one touchdown.
