NBA jersey swap between Raptors wing Gradey Dick and Magic guard Anthony Black goes viral

A jersey swap between two NBA rookies went viral last night following Sunday night’s game between the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors. 

As soon as Gradey Dick and Anthony Black decided to swap jerseys following Orlando’s 111-96 victory over Toronto, it was pretty clear that they knew exactly what they were doing. While jersey swaps are always a nice gesture, the two rookies gave audiences a good laugh with the positioning of their last names on camera.

Side Note: Shoutout to the commentators who clearly wanted to say something but somehow managed to bite their tongues or else we would have had an even more viral clip to post this morning.

There’s really nothing better than a last name dick joke, right? No matter how old you are, you can always appreciate it. I mean hell, Gradey Dick pretty much handles the joke as a standalone name but when you have the opportunity to mix in the color of the dick, then by all means the floor is yours.

The two rookies were fighting off laughs as they posed for cameras. I wonder how long they were planning this? Regardless, it was played to perfection. 

Gradey Dick played 27 minutes against the Raptors and finished with 10 points, knocking down a few three-pointers on 4-of-11 shooting from the floor. As for Anthony Black, he notched a few garbage time minutes with two points and a steal. 

The Magic came away with a 111-96 victory over the Raptors and continue to impress this season. Orlando is 8-2 over their last 10 games and 40-28 on the season, sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference Standings. 

There’s really nothing better than a Last Name Dick Joke, right? Here in Philadelphia, we had a few years of the classic “Long Cox” and let me tell you, they were beyond special.

Speaking of the Eastern Conference Standings, the Philadelphia 76ers currently sit on the edge of the playoffs as the eighth seed. Tonight, they’ll face the Miami Heat, the team that currently is a spot ahead of them in the seventh seed, looking for their second-straight win after beating the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night.
