Watkins, a 2020 sixth-round pick, played the entirety of his rookie contract in Philadelphia and had his moments, logging 43 catches for 647 yards in 2021 before tailing off the last two years.
The addition of star WR AJ Brown likely contributed to his regression, but Watkins seemed to always come up short in critical moments.
Watkins appeared in nine games for the Eagles last season, catching 15 passes for 142 yards (9.5 YPC) and one TD.
Philadelphia has since signed WRs DeVante Parker and Parris Campbell to compete for the WR3 job in 2024.
Re: Quez Watkins — He was a 6th-rd pick who had 98 career catches and 6 TDs, a 43-catch season, 6 catches of 40+ yards. Didn't work out in the end, but he exceeded whatever the expected value would be for the No. 200 overall pick.
