Sixers Playoff Push: Joel Embiid is back and the Bucks are cooked like steak

76ers star Joel Embiid made his long-awaited return on Tuesday night, reminding the NBA world just how good he is.

Embiid logged 29 minutes in his first game back vs. OKC, scoring 24 points on 6-14 shooting (12-12 FT), six rebounds, and seven assists.

The Sixers got a much-needed win and, more importantly, Embiid began to shake off the rust in preparation for the postseason. Philadelphia currently sits at the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the Pacers with six games remaining.

If the Sixers are unable to catch Indiana for the 6th seed, they’ll participate in the Play-In Tournament.

In other news, the Bucks are leaking oil at the wrong time.

Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s triple-double tonight, Milwaukee fell to the hapless Wizards 117-113, their third loss in four games.

The Bucks have been up and down since firing head coach Adrian Griffin and hiring Doc Rivers, but they still have Giannis and one of the league’s best scorers in Damian Lillard.

Rivers has an extensive track record of blown leads while underperforming in the playoffs; this year figures to be no different.

At least it won’t be at our expense this time.
