Phillies fan records country/rap song from little league dugout, embarrasses everyone before Bryce Harper saved the season

Just when you thought the start of the 2024 MLB season couldn’t possibly get any worse, a video was posted on social media featuring a Phillies fan and apparent (local?) music artist sitting in a little league dugout wearing a Phillies jersey, attempting to rap (country?) about The Fightins – while immediately giving any Phillies fan a heavy dose of secondhand embarrassment.

To recap, Kyle Pagan over at Crossing Broad posted the video clip yesterday afternoon on Twitter, saying that the song was the reason why the Phillies were off to another slow start this season.

Bars: I just unintentionally rhymed “reason” and “season” and it’s already better than whatever the hell that dude is doing in a little league dugout.

Immediately following Pagans post, the replies poured in and friend of the program / City Pigeons co-host Mike Meech, always thinking ahead, demanded that Pagan remove the video, fearing that enemies would use it against Phillies fans.

Like clockwork, Meech was right and Jomboy posted the clip shortly after and it was open season on Phillies fans getting roasted for the remainder of the day.

Honestly, Bryce Harper saved the Phillies season in more than one way last night

Anyways, not sure who this kid is but apparently he made an Eagles song too? Buddy – take up knitting. The country/rap songs with a video featuring the Phillies old logo inside a little league dugout is super creepy.

If this dork didn’t realize that on top of the song being total dog shit in general, while thinking something, something, something, J-Roll at home plate, blah blah was a good line, then he was doomed from the start.
